hi,

i have since today a samsung s23a700 led 3d 120hz monitor which has a glossy sceen.

I have this old tft/lcd/plasma screen cleaner solution i bought a couple of years ago.

Named: Ednet gmbh Plasma screen cleaner.

this are the ingredients:

Aqua
dipropylenglycolmonomethylether
Phenoxyethanol
perfumes
Polyglykolethersulfat
d-Limonen

Will this damage my screen or leave a mask layer cause the place which i cleaned looks a bit softer.

Thanks for the help.

For a LCD screen use a Microfiber cloth with a mix of 70% Isopropyl alcohol and distilled water in equal parts (50/50).

In case you don't know: Your "LED" monitor is just LED back-lit and is still considered to have a LCD panel.

I know that led is the same as lcd but I now have a glossy lcd and used the cleaner I mentioned above and it looks like its has a kind of hazy stain on it right now. And also a lot of tiny scratches but when going over it with the micro fiber they appear somewhere else. I will use your solution in the future but can my cleaner with the current ingredients left a hazy layer on my screen

LCD displays have a thin film on them that does easily scratch. It is quite possible that your cleaner left a hazy layer on it. Or it just pushed the dirt around.
