LED strip spark

My LED strip fell and the back of the molex sparked when the exposed rings rubbed against the case. It made a loud zap noise and my PC immediately reset. Everything looks as if nothing happened. Even the LED strip still works. Could it have been some safety mechanism in the PSU that saved my components? I have an XFX TS550. Anything I should be worried about?

Yes, modern PSUs have a short/overdraw/temperature protection.
