So this has been annoying me lately. LED strips are, obviously, just a strip of individual LEDS. and that's probably the only way anyone has come up with to actually make one, but the problem is that while the light they give off can look good, the strips themselves, if you see them directly do not actually look very nice at all, as all you see is a series of coloured dots.
What I would so much prefer is an LED strip that is simply a fully illuminated line - as if it were just one really long LED. Something you could put in full view and have it actually look ok.
If you look at NZXT's Aer RGB fans, they have some frosted plastic covering the LEDs that do a pretty good job of hiding the individual lights, making it look like a single long light.
Are there any LED strips available that are like this? Or is there something I can do to cover the LED's to give the same effect?
