Led's glowing after shut down

I just built a new computer and i need help, when I power it off, the motherboard remains light up and so does the mouse and keyboard, is there a fix for this?
And another important question, since I couldn't get them light off, I simply switched off the power supply, will my pc get harmed If I switch the power supply on and off all nights??

motherboards still have power even when off, and some have leds that stay lit. Also many motherboards keep power to some usb's(as a feature) so you can charge devices like a phone or tablet.

Turning off the power supply shouldn't hurt anything. Many people leave their pc's on all the time

post your mb info so we cna look at the mb guiild and see if there any cmos setting to turn the led off when power down.
