LEDs too bright and shining in eyes

The pc i am currently using has LEDs on the inside which are too bright and shine directly into my eyes, there isn't any other room for it at the moment and at night the brightness is too much. Currently I'm using a piece of paper to tone down the brightness but I'd rather turn the brightness down if possible or maybe change the direction where the lights are facing. I'd prefer for the lights to be on to light up the inside of the case but if necessary I'm willing to turn them off.
The case i am using is the NZXT S340.
Thank you

Solution
It might be sticky with self adhesive.
Be careful if you remove it....don't rip the strip.
The self adhesive may be sticky enough to use again....or maybe not.
You will find out.
If not, you can use whatever you want to stick it back up.
Even silicone caulk would work.

I'm not too sure how do i check, also that link isn't working but would that allow me to control the leds without having to switch them off? Also there seems to be a cable coming out the other side of the leds that dont see to be connected to anything.

The LEDS can be connected different ways. Sometimes they are connected right to the PSU in which case they would always be on full bright.

Sometimes they are connected to a motherboard RGB header and can be controlled with software on the PC.

Sometimes they are connected to their own controller.

One way to know is to follow the wires.

I'm thinking....you could get a controller that controls dimness.

Google "RGB controllers" and maybe add the word "dimness".

You will find controllers that will control dimness.

I'm not really too sure how its wired, through the panel it looks like its connected to the motherboard but i would have to open it up and check, if it is connected to the motherboard how would i go about dimming the lights?

It would depend on the motherboard and where it's connected.

To find where it's connected....or maybe there is more than one strip....open the side and see if you can follow the cable.

If it goes to the MB, then download the MB manual and look to see what that connector does. This will tell you a lot.

Some newer motherboards have special software you can use to control the LEDs.

After looking again it looks like its plugged into the power supply, does this mean that i have no control over the leds? I have also had a look through the BIOS and didn't see anything about LEDs.

"does this mean that i have no control over the leds? "

That's what that means.

So this means....if you want to dim them....you need a controller.

The controller plugs into the PSU and the LEDs plug into the controller.

So it's like the controller goes in between your PSU and your LEDs.

1. its connect to directly to PUS = bright led uncontrolled.
2. need controller between that connector and psu so you can have a remote and control brightness.
3. you could orient the led from that upwards direction to be on the case cover pointing into case, so would not be aimed into your eyes.

Would the led strip still be sticky if i moved it or would i have to apply glue to keep it stuck down? Also i cant move it up as the case wont allow me but can i put it on the side sitting vertically?

I moved the LED strip so that it was vertical and pointing towards the inside of the case, it was still sticky and so it worked well. Thank you all for all the help.
