Left ear of headphone has static when level but disappears when I tilt my head.

I have only recently noticed this. I have had the headphones for over a year. They are the expensive beats by dre headphones with the power switch.(Won them at a raffle) The static is coming from the left ear and is constant in all programs. However if I tilt my head to the right so that the left ear is above the right ear slightly the static disappears. Is there an easy fix to this or should I just scrap it up and find a replacement pair?

Loose wire in headphones.

If you can find the loose wire you can solder it, or if there's enough slack carefully peel back enough of the protective casing, twist them together and put electrical tape over it.
