Left earcup on my Bose headphones broke. Fix it or buy new?

left ear bud does not work, wires appear to be connected

The dealer will order you a new cup if you really want to repair it, but why?
The cost of parts from bose is $$$.

soundguruman has a point though. repair parts can be ordered but its going to cost more than its worth to fix the headphones.

you would be better off with another brand such as audiotechnica or sennheiser.
