Hello all, been a while since i built my rig in 2011. I fixed up some old speakers that are actually quite new just have been sitting in the closet because i broke the 3.5mm jack.
But i bought a replacement 3.5mm jack and cut the old one off and sodderd the new one on.
Heres my problem if i go to Control panel> hardware and sound>Manage audio devices under sound>right click speakers realtek hd audio> configure>
If i click on the left speaker nothing happens, if i click on the right speaker both the left and right speaker play audio as well as the bass. I have no clue what that means so i was wondering if someone could help me.
I can play videos just fine just all the speakers play but there is no situational awareness in games like Call of duty or Battlefield because you don't know if the enemy shots are coming from left or right.
Thanks! Noah
