[SOLVED] Legion 5 or Legion 5 pro with RTX 3070 - power adapter alternative

Hey all,

I have a query regarding alternatives for the Legion 5i pro 3070 variant. The laptop comes with a 300 Watt 'monster' power adapter. I need a 2nd power adapter, something light for traveling but I don't want to compromise on performance.

I wanted to ask if anyone has tried running it on a 230 Watt power adapter and tested the impacts on the performance?

According to them, the laptop consumes about 190W at "full load", so in theory a 230W power brick should work without issue. However, the laptop may still complain and run in a lower power mode because it still needs headroom to charge the battery and I'm not sure if the laptop will always reserve a fixed amount or if it'll adjust it on the fly.
