Dear friends
I bought recently Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6H Product number:82JQ00JDIN in India
It came with 32 GB ram
it has default 1 TB NVME SSD

My question is: (since not clear based on standard documentation)

Can it take another M2. 2280 PCIe nvme ssd?
Can it support 2 TB?
if i purchase Gen 4.0 does it increase speed?

Kindly respond and also suggest good SSD to be purchased as additional storage based on above answers.

Thank You Pls respond

From what I was able to dig out this laptop supposedly has 2 M.2 PCIe x4 slots but while I could clearly see where one slot is I could not for the life of me see or figure out where the second one is, Maybe if I had one to tinker with I could examine it more throroughly but I don't. Therefore I think it's safe to say it can only house one. Yes it does support 2TB actually that's it's manufacturer statement limit "up to 2 TB". Purchasing gen 4 would most likely be beneficial since this laptop is pretty recent as well as pcie 4 standard so it would most likely be compatible/benefit from it. As to recs for drive, prices and performances between manufacturers are quite similar. I'd say if you want the absolute top go for samsung evo 970 or 970 plus, if you want to save a few bucsk for a slightly slower drive you have a bunch of competitors to pick from such as crucial p2, western digital blue, sabrent rocket q, silicon power a80 or adata swordfish.
