How long a cable can I plug into a P2B (USB 1?) port and get reliable
printing and printing (All -in-1 type machine)?

Slightly OT: If I bite the bullet and convert to a wireless network
(old wired guy here) will a plug in based USB wireless connection work
out for an AIO machine?

The maximum cable length between devices on USB is supposed to be 5
meters. Using a bunch of USB hubs as extenders you could extend the
cable as long as 30 meters..

You can buy a booster for about US$20 to achieve longer lengths
