Solution J J jay32267 May 24, 2018 Is that just fine debris from the fan blowing on it? Whatever it is...I definitely would leave it. I can't see it helping anything to take it off.

There are tiny particles in air...as well as oil droplets etc....and over time it builds up and looks like your picture. I have seen it in electronic equipment a lot near fans. I would say...if it's not broke....don't fix it. 😉 Now if you told me you smelled burning...or there was evidence of excessive heat....it would be a different story. Upvote 0 Downvote
