I have a Lenovo G50-45 (80E300MLGM) Windows 8 Bing (64bit) (updated to 8.1)

I changed HDD with an SSD (used on a Mac previously, possible still formated to MacOS) and wanted to make an recovery DVD or USB from my laptop's factory HDD secret recovery partition.
I found that i don't have the possibility to make it on DVD...only flash disc.
I tried using Windows 8 Recovery Drive program.
Made 2 flash discs..
Then I installed the SSD to the laptop and booted from USB drive..
I am from Greece but prefer the English menu. As the video show the process stucks to the point it can't find the system image..

Does someone knows why?
Is there an other wat to make a System Recovery Image?
OneKey Recovery seems that doesn't support this option, but only cloning installed windows partition.

Yes, I had the same problem while pulling components for the one I am using now, do you have a personal or a corporate pc?

Windows will not allow to write over mac os on some systems. I remember that from techdar or something like that.

Give it a go :).

Also do you have the safeboot enabled?

it's my personal laptop..
I finally formated the SSD to NTFS.
what is safeboot ?

yesterday I recovered factory system to the old HDD, I remove every bloatware program didn't need, and put HDD and SSD to my Desktop PC and copied the C partition from HDD (with the fresh installed windows 8.1) to the SSD...but the laptop doesn't boot from this..It can't see it like a boot device.. don't know why
