Lenovo G50-70 SSD

Hi I am wondering if I could put a ssd inside my laptop. I have got Lenovo G50-70 with hdd pre installed. I don't want to take out my hdd and put a ssd instead. I want them both be running at the same time.

wouldn't it creates bottleneck using the ssd with sata 2 interface /?
