Lenovo Ideacentre Y700 or Dell XPS Tower

Costco has a Lenovo Ideacenter Y700 for $1000 and a Dell XPS tower for $1100

Which of them is better for Data Science use?
The Lenovo Y700 has 6GB Nvidia GeForce GTX Graphics while the Dell XPS tower has the 8GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 where the Dell is clearly the winner.
But, the Lenovo Y700 has a better CPU with the Intel i7-7700 at 3.6GHz while the Dell XPS tower has Itenl i7-6700K at 4.0GHz
In terms of storage the Lenovo has 1TB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive + 256 GB Solid State Drive. While the Dell has 2TB 7200 RPM SATA Hybrid Drive.
Which one should I buy?

Both have trade-offs, you are dropping the SSD and newer CPU for a older but better model (the K is unlocked and has higher stock speeds) and a better video card. If it was me, I'd get the Dell with the 1070 and the 6700K cpu then put in a 250 or 500 gb SSD in as a OS and program drive.
