Lenovo ideapad 300 all of the sudden the mouse won't work

I'm suddenly having problems worry the mouse on the laptop. Installed my wireless mouse and that is working on and off

Is it disabled? Look for keys on the keyboard that correspond to the touchpad; sometimes there are hotkeys that allow you to enable/disable it. Try reinstalling the touchpad driver if that does not work.
