A few weeks ago, I ordered and replaced a new battery in my Lenovo Ideapad 500-15ISK. Ever since I replaced said battery, I havent been able to get the thing to work properly.

Normally, the device will show the lenovo splash screen and the windows 10 loading symbol will come up, spin a few times, and then the computer freezes. When windows does Startup Repair, it will boot to windows, then freeze after 1-2 minutes of use. Disabling forced driver sigs does nothing, as well as running in low res mode. The device does not appear to overheat.

I have tested and retested two hard drives, reseated the RAM, updated drivers, cleared BIOS, replaced CMOS and tried two different win10 boot disks across at least 10 different blank windows 10 installations across the two HDs.
Here is the problem device:

Lenovo Ideapad 500-15ISK
Windows 10 Home
Intel i7 6500U
Intel HD Graphics 520
Radeon R7 M360
256GB Samsung 840 EVO

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I like to consider myself a decently read IT guy but as I said in the title, I am completely and utterly at a loss here.

So, a few minutes after posting this I tried unplugging the battery and plugging it back in in a fit of desperation. What do you know, It fixed the problem. I can't believe this 2 week ordeal was caused by a connector being lose. I've learned a lesson today.
