Question Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15IAH7 CPU issues

Hi!

I have a laptop that I hardly use, the other day I took it out to clean it and I've been stumped as to why the laptop won't turbo past 2.17ghz when under load.

I've tried updates, Drivers, and even checking in the bios. Nothing I do to windows power on windows 11 will allow it to turbo up at all.

Anyone got any ideas?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You could try and disconnect the battery, then remove the rams in your build, then press and hold down the power button on your laptop for 30secs. Then reseat the rams and power up using the power brick, not the battery and see if that helps.

Tried that with no success. Good Ideal though. Thank you for thinking of something I never would of thought of!

Still 2.17ghz. either way once all cores start going.
