Lenovo Intros New Ideapad Laptops, One Ultrabook

Is it just me, or did they put that trackpad directly underneath your left hand? Why would they do that on purpose? Their other laptops do it too, I don't think I'd ever buy something like that.

The track pad is centered on the main part of the keyboard, this seems to be more common lately. Laptops with num pads seem to offset the track pad to be in line with the "word processing" part of the keyboard
 
It doesn't have an SSD and it's 50% more than the mandated 3 lbs. Why is this still an ultrabook? It's a thin laptop, yes, but enough with this faux-ultrabook marketing BS already.
