On a more serious note, I'm actually quite intrigued. I really haven't stepped into the world of VR / AR other than in demo shows, but this look quite cool...

Wont work with folks who have had cataract surgery. You lose your close up vision and needs corrective lenses to read usually

That depends on what distance the display optics are set to focus at. This is (for current displays) fixed at time of manufacture, and can be anywhere from near field (~1-2 meters, for easy of context switching when interacting at objects within reaching distance) to the more common infinity focus (for ease of viewing when looking around at objects at or beyond ~20m).
