lenovo k430 Graphics card upgrade

I have a Lenovo K430 31092FU with an i5 2320 3.0 processor and 12G of ram (all factory installed). I just updated the power supply to an EVGA 600watt ATX12v/EPS12v and would like to update the graphics card as well but not sure what is the best I can update to with mentioned hardware. I'm looking to spend anywhere between $80-190.
I have an EVGA GTX960 but not sure if this will work with existing hardware being the screen lights up and states Lenovo. Any advice to the matter would be appreciated. Thanks!

GTX 960 is a great card and wht do u mean by "not sure if this will work with existing hardware being the screen lights up and states Lenovo." Anyway the graphics will work just fine, but first remove all existing old gpu drivers and the shut down. Replace you old gpu with your new gpu and then boot up and go to Nvidia site and download the latest drivers for u GTX 960 graphics card.

I did exactly as mentioned but can't veiw anything with the new gcard so uploaded the driver for the 960 with the old card. I also enabled "legacy" on the bios then installed the 960 but still no bingo... I noticed the 960 gpu fans turn on for a second or two and then they turn off. I kinda want to belive the programing is looking for code in the gpu but cant find it and it shuts off being the oem gpu is manufactured by, guess who, Lenovo! Intresting note, i bought a smaller gforce GT610 2gig ddr3 gpu and it had the same results.
In a good note, after installing the drivers for the 960, the original gpu graphics improved....maybe i need to purchase a card through lenovo. The geek squad was unsuccessfull as well.... baffelled!

Did you do a reset (optimized defaults, etc..) in the bios/uefi after putting in the new video card ? That's important, if the bios/uefi aren't set to detect the right video card, Windows won't either. Did you uninstall the old video card's driver's ?

Did u install from the cd it came with or from the nvidia site
