Lenovo L520 does not work USB ports

Lenovo ThinkPad L520 USB ports and camera does not work.
Device Manager shows all drivers Ok.
The 4 ports are inactive
Windows 10 installed on notebook
Help me please

Are you able get into BIOS? See if the USB ports (and camera for that matter) are disabled therein.

Should not have happened unless you specifically went in and did so. I.e., to prevent USB flashdrives from being able to boot the system.

However there are various diagnostic tests you can run from BIOS.

Reference the L520 Maintenance Manual - hopefully the following link is the correct manual for your L520:

Are you aware of any changes to your Thinkpad?

Some new install, some update....?

Any problems or error codes/messages being displayed?

Go to Windows Settings, Devices, USB. Click on the "Notfiy me" button. Restart and see if you receive any notifications regarding USB connection issues.

Try reinstalling the drivers anyway.

No problems reported
No error code
Reinstalled drivers, all ok.
USB PORTS ARE DEAD.
