we bought the Yoga 2 pro (i5, 8gb ram, 256ssd) for my brother-in-law (still in school) and, yes, the keypad turns off in tablet mode. this article fails to mention the resolution of the 13.3" model (3200x1800).
Wife has a Yoga 2 Pro 13", she loves it. Great machines, battery life is greatly exaggerated and I wouldn't be surprised if the battery after 2 years barely holds a charge like most PC laptops, only downside
the resolution of the 13.3" yoga 2 PRO is 3200x1800. I believe the article is correct in that Lenovo is now launching the yoga 2 (non-pro), which probably has a 900p screen or something else not worth boasting about
that aside... I'm interested in that 500GB HDD. I've opened up my yoga 2 pro for mods and what not, and there's barely enough room there for the mpcie SSD they put in there. there needed to be some major changes (or increase in thickness) for everything to fit
