i know the 6800h comes with thermal paste on it but would it be safe to replace it my self in couple of years depending on how long it last and when i need to add more so could i just add liquid metal instead of thermal paste on 6800h though i know its only the 12700h intel version that comes with liquid metal

Hey there,

I think in general terms it's best to avoid liquid metal for laptops. I'm pretty sure I've read something recently where a manufacturer did that. But I'm not sure. I just wouldn't want any leakage to get outside of the sink. It could cause issues.

A pretty decent paste for laptops is Noctua NT-H2 (NT H1). I get very good results with it on my HP Omen 15.
