I agree with eszklar. Needs to be retested with BazziteOS, at least until there is an official SteamOS support. Windows has way too much bloat to be a competitive handheld OS, this is known. I get that you want to test what the product officially ships with and supports, but the benefits of losing the bloat of MS Windows should not be ignored. Because of its significants, it is relevant to even the mainstream gamer. Considering this is believed to be the spiritual steam deck 2, it is relevant to test it with a SteamOS, which right now on non-steam deck devices, is BazziteOS.
That being said, I kind of wonder if this product is going to outperform the Ally X by much if at all. Sure, it has more RAM, and it has the newer AMD Z2 processor, but it's limited by core count, as it's not a full Z2. Price wise, both products are in the same ballpark.
This is what your review should be addressing. Does this beat the Ally X?
