Hi there,

I am in the process of buying a 1TB nvme ssd for my legion y530 and was wondering whether anyone has installed the Adata XPG SX8200 1TB. I came across a post in Lenovo's forum of some guy who unsuccessfully tried to installed it as some cable was interfering in the backside.

Does the legion y530 support only single-sided nvmes? Anyway I would really like to go for a 1TB nvme. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Do some shopping. SSD prices are coming down.
In the USA, the difference is $20
I like the samsung SSD devices, in part because their ssd migration app is so easy to use and has never failed me.
I have used one in a lenovo Y700 and X1 extreme laptops.

Of course Samsung's SSDs are the norm. But still for 60% that price I can get an SSD that is as fast if not faster in some cases. The matter is whether it fits thicknesswise...
