[SOLVED] Lenovo quiet mode

2 days ago I purchased a Lenovo ideapad s340 and I told the shop it would only be used for surfing and storing photo so they suggested I used quiet mode. I scrolled the mode with Fn +Q . After setting it to quite mode if I press Fn +Q , it no longer scrolls through quiet , intelligent and performance.
So my question is this , if i did something that required a bit more power would it change automatically.

Try it and see what it does.

You should be able to set this in the BIOS also.

Usually setting the fans to quiet mode would prevent them from spinning too fast so it may overheat the laptop if you try to use it for games or stress the CPU.
