I buy motherboard server Lenovo RD450X MB from taobao (China), I can’t find the user manual

i want to find front panel pinout of the board

I only bought the motherboard, not the server rack, so I don't have the serial number

I've googled the motherboard model number from your pic [RD450X MB REV: 1.2] but I'm not finding any links to a manual for it.
I am therefore unable to help you any further.

I bought one just like this one today (it hasn't shipped yet), and I couldn't find the manual either.
And do you know if the ATX 24-pin connector is the standard for desktop power supplies?

Hi @sureshmadan , I canceled the order because I contacted Lenovo and they don't provide the manual without having the server serial number, they asked to contact the seller, but he doesn't have it either.

Hi, I just received one of these too. Lenovo RD450X MB
it gets a heartbeat but i can't figure out where the power pins are?

I also found this pic and it's showing some kind of switch? maybe
it goes to a small 4 pin white connector.

Port 31: short-circuit upper right 1 and lower right 4, short-circuit lower left 1 and lower right 1


Port 29: The boot cable is shorted to the upper right 5 and the lower right 5


Press the chassis power button to boot normally

Thanks for the pics, this week i'm going to recheck my connections and see if I can figure this out.

Does anyone have any information on support for 4th generation processors. I was unable to run the motherboard with 2680v4. The fans start and the LED on the motherboard starts flashing. But there is no video signal and the keyboard is not initialized. I think the problem may be the wrong connection of the pin on the motherboard, or a firmware update is required. Does anyone have any successful experience running this motherboard on gen 4 processors? (I'm trying to run from a single power supply).

Colleagues.
I was having this same problem. I'm using a duo of the 2686V4.
These server boards take time to generate an image. Often 1 minute.
When the cmos battery is removed the board restarts for more than 3 times until it generates a boot.
I had tested mine with V3 and I couldn't get a video. I don't know if I didn't wait long enough.
I removed Sop16 eprom and directly record the website file that a colleague posted on google drive.
Now generate video.
First it generated video on the VGA output even with an RX 580 card.
In the bios I changed everything to be UEFI.
