Question Lenovo startup issue

Hi I have a lenovo laptop and it does not boot into windows. It will just be spinning on the lenovo screen and then crash with an error CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. I treid to boot into windows PE via usb . It does boot in successfully but it doesnt detect my sata ssd, it only detects the usb drive. Why is my ssd not being detected? It shows up in the bios but not in windows PE or while trying to freshly install windows... I tried resetting bios setting but it did not fix the issue. Please Help.

Secure boot is disabled.


I tried to start it.. weirdly so it did start, BUT, it was just a black screen and just the mouse.. After some time it crashed with the same error as above and got stuck in a boot loop of checking media device..

I am now trying to see if my ssd shows up in windows pe environment.. if it does ill backup my data and format it.. thats the only option i see.

Update: my ssd was showing up in windows pe environment but as soon as i try to access any files on the internal ssd my laptop hangs.. so much that windows explorer stops responding.. i cannot open a single folder.

legacy bios firmware could install windows on MBR partitions and UEFI bios firmware needed a GPT partition to install windows.

there should be options in your bios on legacy and UEFI mode and CSM compatibility support module
