Lenovo T60 CPU upgrade

I have a mint condition Lenovo T60 had it from Brand new. It has a place in my heart and plently of work on it from my college days. I wish to keep it running. I want to pop in a better faster cpu. I have maxed the 800mhz DDR2 memory. It's got a 320GB Intel SSD Sata2 Drive. According to Everest software it's Socket type is FCPGA 478. Core 2 duo. But in the heading it says Core Duo. No (2). Anyways it's got the last and latest BIOS drivers 2015. Can someone list the fastest CPU and GPU upgrade current is Radeon 1300x 64MB DX9. Chipset is, INTEL 945PM. So best CPU GPU dual core or Quad. Boy you must really love that laptop....here are the CPU's that fit your socket and chipset - see the mobile section. You must somehow find out exactly what CPU is currently in your T60 with CPUZ...Still I do not think it will be worth it as finding a replacement might be difficult and the GPU, cant find anything on that....yet

I can upgrade a laptop with me eyes closed really. I've already modded it and given it new thermal paste ect more memory 800mhz 4GB so on. Everest says Core Duo T2400 1.83ghz 2mb cache 65nm 35watt TPD web says max cpu T2700 2.33ghz 2mb cache 65nm TDP 35watts. I have fitted Quad core AMD APUs 45nm to boards that came with Dual cores 45nm. Can the T60 take quad. Can it take different types of intel cpus that fit FCPGA 478 Pin. Like Dual core Celerons P4 HT Dual cores ect all around 35 watts TDP.

Good to know on your skills...With regards to the CPU choices, unfortuanatly you are held back by the chipset which in this case will only allow Core 2 Duo's at best, The first Core 2 Quad chipset was the Intel 965..see below.
