I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M72z All-in-One system, that I cannot get to boot.

Problems first occured when someone switched off the mains power which the PC was connected to and switched on.

The PC would no longer boot. When pressing the power button, you get a flash of the HDD light, and the fan spins for a couple of seconds and then stops, and the fan then goes in a starting/stopping cycle.

I have replaced the PSU as that was my first port of call to check, and it still isnt working.

I have cleaned the MOBO and the RAM ports and reseated the RAM and replaced and it still isnt working.

I have checked that all connections are tight to the port and it still isnt working.

I just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions as to what it may be? It was a pre-built and shop bought and has had no modifications made to it (apart from the PSU).

Cheers folks!

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

If the all in one still have warranty, I would suggest you call to support and leave that they solve the problem, if I am right...could be a problem with the motherboard but since this are pre build rigs they have to change the component and burn the OS key again.
