Lenovo ThinkPad e520 gets really slow if it suddenly changes to battery when using teams.

Hello all,

My Lenovo ThinkPad e520 laptop gets really slow if it suddenly changes from mains to battery when using teams. If there's a power surge or if the power cable gets pulled out accidently for example. The laptop gets so slow that it is unusable until I reset it and once it has rebooted it is back to normal.

I'm running Windows 10 pro and I keep it updated.

Is this a known issue? Anyone have any ideas?

You're working with a decade old and/or more older laptop with Windows 10, that I'm assuming was upgraded to 8GB of ram, this is what's the issue. In 2023, that laptop is meant to be retired.
