There has to be something more novel than touch screen for a laptop. I can see a touch screen for small hand devices and point of sale systems. I tried the HP touch screen computers and while cool initially it becomes annoying to have to touch the screen. The key is in the interface.

Yeah!
Giving us a price of $1700, is like us paying $299. It's as insulting to Lenovo, as it is to the customer to rip him off like that!

A good price would probably be between $700 and 900 for this laptop.
Touchscreen and multitouch is not supposed to cost more than $15 to install, $10on resources, and $2 per laptop to create drivers.
Charging the full 1000 is just insulting to a customer!

I am not buying any garbage products that are supported by the Chinese govt.
