Question Lenovo TP T440s hd to ssd upgrade

i got a good deal on a lenovo thinkpad t440s. I am under the impression (watching youtube) that I could easily switch out the 500gb hd for a ssd. Is that right?

Yes correct, any laptop with a SATA drive you can put a SATA SSD in. If you already saw someone doing it in a video why ask here though?

Some people were saying you could only switch out the 42mm m.2 drive. Its the cache drive. It had me all confused! Ty!
