Lenovo U300s SSD card

Hello

I have SSD card form broken Lenovo U300s. It look like this:

It was connected to MB with this cable:

Has anyone idea how modify this cable to connect this SSD to regular SATA port? I cannot find any service manual to check the pinouts. This card has 128GB od SSD storage and it would be nice to use it in my PC

Unfortunately these use a proprietary adapter that is non-standard and as far as I know no one has made an adapter for. Unless you have data on the SSD, I'd suggest you just hock it on Ebay and use the proceeds to buy another SSD. Probably can fetch a fair price for the SSD since it's the only one that can be used as a replacement for that model laptop.

If you do need data, you'll most likely need a data recovery company with proper tools to analyze the pinouts and custom solder up an adapter to retrieve the data.

Searching google images, I found pictures of an adapter for this SSD. They have been sold on AliExpress apparently and are no longer available anywhere. If it helps: The adapter looks very simple, maybe its just a simple matter of soldering?

The adapter in the photo you posted may be available again at Ali Express. The description is a "compatible SSD card" for the u300s.

Does anyone know if the SSD card does indeed come with the adapter as shown in the photos? I've reached out to the seller but haven't heard back yet.
