core M only has clocks speed around 800-1.1GHz. Despite is a high IPC broadwell, I highly doubt it will come any where near the the performance of a 3GHz core 2 duo/ or a low clocked 2.33-2.6ghz core 2 quad. As these old cpus are pretty much the bare minimum for casual work these days, I guess we need to wait a few more generation b4 we reach those performance on 5w tdp.
