Hello,
I want to upgrade my gpu from gtx760 to gtx 1060 6gb and also add 8gb of ram. Here is a link to my current system: https://www.cnet.com/products/lenovo-erazer-x510-57329805-black-web-special-4th-generation-intel-core-i7-4770k-3-50ghz-1600mhz-8mb/specs/

1. Will my currrent system have any issue with these changes?
2. Any recommendations for which type/brand of ram or gpu to order?
3. I have not installed gpu or ram before. Should I attempt this on my own or get professional help? What are the risks?

Thanks for your help!

GPU - MSI and EVGA are generally good cards with good coolers.

Both are very easy to upgrade yourself, even for a first-timer. Basically just crack it open and install the new components, then close it up.

I'd uninstall the NVIDIA drivers, power down the system, and then install the new card and RAM at the same time.
