Lenovo Y40 won't start

Hi, my Lenovo pc doesn't respond when I push the starting button, at all.
My battery is completely dead, but even when I connect it to the charger it won't start.
I have been working with no battery for a while, but now it's seems dead

have you tried just removing your battery. and only use your AC adapter? normally, you buy a new battery if you know its dead already.,,

Have not removed the battery, always work with the charger
