[SOLVED] Lenovo y50-70 charging problem!

Hello, i joust bought an second hand lenovo y50-70 with i5 4210h 8gb ram gtx 860m, it works fine but it doesnt charge when i turn it on( it turns on on battery), i dont know why, when the laptop it`s shut down it charges.

Its possible there is a bios setting for this, I have seen it in the past mostly on dells might want to take a look there. If that's not it hopfully someone else weighs in.

Are you using the correct wattage oem charger?

Yes is the oem charger, i didnt saw anything in bios about this. Also i tried to boot without battery plung in, but it doesnt start.

Weird issue for sure that it will still charge when its shutdown. Seems to me like the OEM charger is going bad and the voltage is so low it can only charge when the laptop is powered off.

If possible try another charger, I know this is easier said then done.

If you have a multimeter you could test the charger also.
