Lenovo y50-70 (FHD or UHD)

Hi all,
I am planning to buy lenovo y50-70 and i have got two options for that- the Ultra HD and Full HD.

My 90% use with the laptop is gaming only. The seller suggested that if it is for gaming purpose it is better to take FHD because the FHD will give more refresh rate(60fps) than UHD(40fps). But i am confused about this...is that true?? i would like to play demanding games at ultra settings. I was about to take Asus N550JK but then this one with better GPU came to my notice. Can anyone please advice me at the earliest. pls pls pls

Yes thats true. QHD is 4x larger than FHD and it takes more memory and GPu power to manage all those pixels. That applies to shooter type games where every millisecond delay counts. For wow type games where reaction time is less critical it wont really matter much.

Yes, i am more interested in shooting type games. So ur advice is that i should go for the FHD version, right?? Also can u pls explain if gaming looks good on FHD screen of this model(lenovo y50-60) or u can suggest any other laps that has same performance (same price range )

I cant say how the lenovo's screen looks; I dont know anyone with one. My Clevo's 15" FHD screen looks great.

Also please dont expect to game at 60fps. That is dependant on the GPU and not the display.
