Lenovo y50-70 flickering screen problem

Hello!

Recently i bought the Lenovo y50-70 with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M.

It has only been a few weeks, when my screen started to flicker/glitch black, mainly during the startup process. I said mainy, because it also does this randomly while gaming, which also causes major lag.
I already updated the drivers for my graphics cards, but it didnt do anything.

I've read about the previous problems with the nvidia 8800's, but it seems strange to me that this does-not-connect-when-hot-problem would still be an issue. I also read about the problems with the lenovo g560, where the cable caused screenglitching, but when i use a different screen and use the mirror function, the second screen glitches as well.

Has anyone encountered this problem, or does anyone know something else i can try to fix it?

Sounds like your computer doesnt have enough watts to power the graphics card, that or the processor is struggling to run both the graphics card and os simultaneously. Im also under the impression that your computer worked fine before, so my best guess is one of those two, or maybe both
