I have a Lenovo y50-70 (as title states) and I was wondering if I could replace the screen with a 120hz screen. Reading through other forums with similar questions could the Intel iGPU support it? and some other issues, I might run into.

My Laptop:
i7-4720HQ
16gb DDR3L (2x8)
480gb Samsung 530 Series SSD
GTX 960M 4gb
Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Laptop Screen is locked to 48hz, Can't go above it.

120Hz Screen: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CWSWX4...olid=2OQYEXZNDAL2K&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Its probably a dumb question, but I see little talk about it online, and I’ve already replaced the screen cable due to an issue when I bought it, So I know my way around the interior of it.

Hey kind of a late response to this, but yes you can replace it with the N156HHE-GA1, you will need to uninstall the Intel Graphics HD4600 driver then restart after installing the screen to get 120 showing
