is lenovo y50-70 a good gaming laptop in affordable range

Old lenovo Y series used to be great price-performance. Nowadays there are way cheaper solution by acer and asus. I'm with an almost 5 year old Y570 and it was the best, even better than laptops $100 more expensive, but now the Y series is $100 more expensive so I'd say the tides have turned.
