Hi

I got Lenovo Yoga C940 for about 3 weeks now
it uses Intel Core i7-1065G7
with Intel Ice Lake-U GT2 64EU - Integrated Graphic ( Intel Iris Plus Graphics 940 )
always on Intelligent cooling mode

Even when am not doing anything , in conditioned room, the temp doesn't go below 45c
only once it reached 40c , but the normal 47-52c , when doing nothing or very light usage

when I was updating windows it got really hot , frying hot, once it reached 97c
and who knows maybe more, cuz on blue screen while updating i felt that temps so hot without being able to monitor

when i watch videos on dedicated app, like netflix it keeps the temp low,
but if I watch on browser, am using Firefox, it gets hot too
between 60s - 70s , and reach 80's sometimes. rare times jump to 90's for few second

I always keep the ventilation open , also one of the reason I picked this laptop cuz it uses 2 blowers
so i thought it will give better temperature

is this normal behavior for the laptops?
shall I be worry about the temps when doing nothing ?
what about the 90s, is this gonna damage my CPU?

I believe that may just be the CPU itself. it's a 3.9 GHz CPU, and it's also multi-threaded. CPUs like that tend to run hot. Check with other people that own the same laptop and see of they experience it too.
