I was hoping for a $350 price tag but it still seems like a good value! I am trying to decide between this one and the Sony Xperia Z2 ($500) to replace my gen 1 Kindle Fire.

Personally, I'd go with the Xperia Z2. The thin, sleek, solid body alone is enough to make me pay more for it than the Lenovo. Being water-Resistant is also a bonus when you have a clumsy family.

Lenovo beats Sony spec wise, but the Sony's Xperience is generally better.
