Not sure if this is a known bug or not, but I'm having trouble getting
Lenton's quest in the archaeologist's barracks in Chapter 2. He is always
attacking that dummy, so when I try to talk to him, he is "busy." I've
already found the troll head, and his name is mentioned in the description
so I figure that's what I need for him, but picking it up did not update my
journal since I had no entry for him anyway.

Is there something specific I need to do to get the quest in my journal?

Thanks.

This is a known bug introduced in an older patch (or maybe one of the
expansions). It is fixed in the 1.64 patch that is currently in public
beta; I do not know if the fix will work for your savegame. Right now,
your best bet is to use a Charm spell on him. Eltoora, in Port Llast,
sells a Rod of Beguiling, useable by any class, that will work just fine.

Thanks. Charm worked fine.
