[SOLVED] Less Storage Space Than Expected

Hi Everyone. Recently bought an MSI trident X

It says it has a 1TB SSD, I expected 800-900GB of usable space due to windows, bloatware, etc

However, It says it only has 599GB total space ! Not sure if I contact MSI, the store I bought it from, or if theres an explanation?? thanks

Open diskmanager and show a pic of that, in all probability it has a recovery partition with the whole windows installation backed up in case something goes wrong.

Thanks! just got a similar answer on reddit. Was unaware of partitions. Have a laptop with everything on one SSD drive so I was unaware it can be split up
