with this i mean, when i'm in a gaming lobby, people can hear the music i'm playing through my turtle beach ghosts ear force shadow headset.

If you don't want them to hear it: turn down your music/use push to talk. If you want them to hear it more clearly you can get a splitter/amp for your output and a switch for your input that will allow you to have a loop between input and output.

are you trying to use two devices at the same time Example: xbox and pc for music?

no i just plugged it into my pc like they did in the manual. no other divices. i dud enable stereo mix and the voice recorder at this site: did hear something but not really loud. when i turned my music louder the recorder did hear it more louder but i needed to put it really loud to make it crystal clear.

if you plug the pink cord into the pc it will play the audio through your mic to everyone else, I have done this before on accident

i dont have a pink cord, i have a black cord and a usb. does the black cord count as a pink cord?

i think yes, on pc's the pink cord (which is the same size as the green one) is used for the mic, and when you plug that into the audio it messes everything up
