Just to install and explore SharePoint Server (2019 version preferred) in general... and other server utilities like Exchange and other server tools...

What would be your recommended specs...

Please share your thoughts...

Something with enough CPU and RAM to hold VMs of the WinServer, and 2x Windows 10 client systems.

A small network, encapsulated in a single physical PC.

You could probably do it in 64GB RAM.

VM is okay. But this time I want to work with a Dedicated Server. Please don't mistake me, just being curious for a very longer time to explore a server Machine. Thanks for the reply.

Are OS provided free with the Machines? Like Windows are being given with the Laptops.
WindowsServer does NOT come with a system.
You can get a 180 day eval version (this was mentioned before) to install on your hardware, or in a VM.

At this level, there is nothing magical about 'a server'. All the magic happens in software.
The system is just another beefy PC.

I recommended VMs, because you can easily/instantly recover from a bad mistake.

If you're dead set on experimenting with a server, the HP ML 110 is close to your price range of one lakh, but you'd still have to configure it with various components to finish the build.

Alternatively, you could try the second-hand server market in India for something older and cheaper. Check out your local supplier of used corporate hardware. You might pick up a (noisy) bargain.
