Letting go of my Nvidia 8500gt?

hello friends

my pc specs are as follows

the specs are:

-Manufacturer's motherboard name: Foxconn MCP73M01H1
HP/Compaq name: Napa-GL8E
-Processor QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700
-GeForce 8500 GT (everest ultimate edition says that i have Asus EN8500GT memory:512 Bus Width:128-bit Bus Type: Ddr2, Yes i use HDMI)
-4gig Ram ddr2
- Running on Windows XP Sp3
-22" Hp w2207 monitor

my question is that, will my system still work properly if i upgrade my video card/gpu to
-ATI Radeon HD5450 1GB 64bit DDR3
or
-ATI Radeon HD4550 512mb DDR2
or
-geforce 8800gt

and which of them will be the most budget wise and most useful for gaming

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming [Need for speed hot pursuit, need for speed undercover, nba 2k11,WoW ]

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Nvida 8500gt & -450 psu Asus Z 45FP

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: my desktop is an upgraded Hp Pavillion Elite m9290d

Well the most powerful card that you've chosen is the 8800GT.But i'm not sure if they are $50 or not.But to answer your question,yes they will work with your current PC.To be more in your budget range the 5570 is probably the best.When your looking for GPU's just be sure to get a card that's PCI-Express 2.0 and not 2.1.
 
The 8000GT by a mile, or more like 100 miles! The 5450 and 4550 are not usefully faster than your very old 8500gt. You really should be looking to spend more if you want to do any kind of gaming (like $70 for a 5670) but if you can get a working 8800GT for around $50 then go for it.
 


i think ill go for the nvidia instead thanks for the advice though much appreciated, uhm can i play blackops on 8800gt on high settings?

oh and by the way i've cheched HD 5670 but it's a 2.1 🙁
